We are located near the village of Edgerley, midway between Shrewsbury and Oswestry on the banks of the River Severn. We are three miles south of the A5 trunk road and a few miles north of the A458 from Shrewsbury to Welshpool. The NCN Route 81 - Lôn Cambria cycle route passes our front door.

From Shrewsbury, turn right off the A5 at the roundabout towards Nesscliffe (1 on above map), before the dual carriageway Nesscliffe bypass. From Oswestry and Wales, turn left off the A5 at the roundabout towards Nesscliffe (1 on map), at the end of the dual carriageway Nesscliffe bypass.

Turn left after half-a-mile (2), following signs to Nesscliffe Training Camp and crossing over the A5 on a bridge. After the training camp, you arrive at the tiny village of Pentre. After a bend to the right, turn sharp left at the Post Office (3). The Royal Hill is another mile down the road on your right (4).

Please note that the more direct lane from the A5 through Felton Butler is very narrow with few passing places.
